What is Clean?

How much does Clean cost?

Is it safe? Can it delete something important?
Only things that regenerate on their own (caches, logs) are freed instantly. Your files go to the Trash, and you see exactly what will happen first. Files with secrets, services in use and iCloud files are never deleted automatically.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Scanning is local and the AI is Apple's, running inside your Mac: it only sees names, sizes and dates, never contents. Clean sends nothing to the internet.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, with no time limit: the free version scans your whole drive and explains every folder. You only pay if you want Clean to do the cleanup for you.
Why isn't it on the Mac App Store?
Mac App Store apps can only see their own folders. A cleaner has to see the whole drive to find lost space, which is why Clean is a direct download, like the full versions of CleanMyMac and DaisyDisk. The app is signed and notarized by Apple.
Why does it ask for "Full Disk Access"?
Because caches, simulators and app leftovers live in folders macOS protects. You grant the permission in System Settings and can revoke it anytime. Without it, Clean can only scan your personal folders.
How many Macs can I use my license on?
Up to 3 Macs that you own.

Does it work on iPhone or iPad?
